Robert Ritchey proves that physicians can be serious and funny at the same time. He’s very thorough in his practice – conscientious of his patients and dedicated to providing excellent care, yet he’s not shy with a good laugh. Dr. Ritchey joins P3 Health Partners with a passion for its care team approach that puts providers back in charge of patient care and surrounds the provider and patient with a team of professionals focused on supporting the patient on their wellness journey.
When it comes to staying healthy, Dr. Ritchey says it’s all about a good diet and regular exercise. It’s advice he practices in his own life. His hobbies include weight training and scuba diving, dining out with his wife Debbie and watching his favorite sports teams – the Vegas Golden Knights and the Clemson Tigers.
Dr. Ritchey specializes in family practice with an emphasis on acute and chronic illnesses, internal medicine and geriatrics. While it wasn’t until he was a freshman in college that he decided to be a physician, he’s always known that he wanted to make a difference in other people’s lives.
He’s a veteran in the medical field and in the military. He started his career while in the United States Air Force as a family physician. His strong ties to the Las Vegas Valley have grown as he has practiced here for nearly three decades.
Dr. Ritchey received his Doctor of Medicine from Medical University of South Carolina. He completed his family medicine residency at Self Memorial Hospital in Greenwood, South Carolina and also holds a bachelor’s degree in microbiology from Clemson University.
