Nurse Practitioner Theresa Brinton loves watching her kids do what they love, her first sip of morning coffee and crisp mountain air. She’s also an avid hiker and recently hiked 14,271 feet to the top of Mt. Evans in Colorado.
Her approach to staying healthy can be summarized with one word: Balance. More than getting enough sleep, eating healthy and staying active, Theresa knows real health respects one’s physical, emotional and spiritual needs. She believes that personal development, fostering good relationships and finding joy are equally important to staying healthy.
While there was never a mountaintop moment to her decision to become a nurse practitioner, Theresa’s always known that she was meant to care, to serve and to help others. She’s been a nurse for 18 years and cherishes the countless hours she’s spent making her patients laugh, listening to them cry, holding a hand, calming a fear or teaching something new.
Her life’s purpose continues as she joins the P3 Medical Group in its mission to bring health and care back to healthcare in Nevada. Theresa‘s background includes acute, urgent and primary care. She holds Master and Bachelor of Science degrees in nursing from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
