[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Low Income Clark County Seniors Benefit from P3 Paper Goods Drive
By Regina Vaccari
P3 Health Partners Nevada Medical Group has a passion for serving seniors. That’s why this fall we’re teaming up with Helping Hands of Vegas Valley to help meet the needs of underserved seniors in our community.
Did you know that 15 percent of Clark County seniors are hungry? That’s 55,500 residents. The average income of a Helping Hands client earns just $700 per month – $300 below the poverty line. These seniors are forced to make choices between medications, utilities and food every day. Each month, Helping Hands delivers a monthly supply of paper goods (e.g., toilet paper and paper towels) to 1,800 seniors so they don’t have to go without these important health and hygiene items. That’s a total of 5,400 rolls of toilet paper and 1,800 rolls of paper towels every month.
Where it’s typical this time of year to see food pantry drives and donations, P3 Medical Group appreciates the importance of supporting the health and hygiene needs of low-income seniors this season. You can join us in this effort during our paper goods drive. From October 29 through November 9, bring your donations of toilet paper and paper towels to any of our five Clark County clinics:
