About
When Deborah “Debi” Valentine began her healthcare journey at just 16 years old working at a Piggly Wiggly in South Carolina, she had no idea it would lead to a lifelong career dedicated to caring for others. Her nursing career began at Tampa Children’s Hospital, and her passion for primary care deepened as she served in roles such as nurse manager at a federally qualified health center, case manager with the VA, and certified diabetes educator. These experiences inspired her to pursue her Doctor of Nursing Practice so she could do even more to help her patients lead healthier, fuller lives.
Dr. Valentine specializes in family medicine and is passionate about treating the whole person—not just the symptoms. She believes the most important part of healthcare is the human connection and often takes time to learn about her patients’ joys, challenges, and life experiences that may affect their well-being. Known for her humor and love of a good dad joke, she creates a comfortable, trusting environment where patients feel truly heard.
She joined P3 Health Partners because the organization’s quality-centered model aligns with her own belief that great outcomes come from compassionate care and teamwork. What she looks forward to most at P3 is the support and collaboration she shares with her team as they work together to make a meaningful difference.
Outside of work, Dr. Valentine enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, knitting, quilting, and traveling. She’s a fan of all kinds of food—except fish—and all types of music. Her health advice to patients is simple and timeless: eat more fiber and move more.
Dr. Valentine earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Utah and is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
