Dr. Michael Millie serves as Chief Clinical Officer at P3 Health Partners, where he focuses on value-based care infrastructure, healthcare economics and clinical models. He brings a career-long passion for supporting fellow clinicians in their pursuit of clinical excellence and sustainable practice.
Before joining P3, Dr. Millie served for five years as Chief Medical Officer at HarmonyCares, the nation’s oldest and largest home-based care continuum serving complex and homebound patients. In this role, he led clinical strategy and quality across the enterprise.
Previously, Dr. Millie served as Chief Clinical Officer at Optum–West, where he was responsible for value-based care and population health performance across Washington and Oregon. His portfolio included Medicare Advantage, dual-eligible populations, full-risk Medicaid and accountable care organization (ACO) programs. During his tenure, the population under management grew from fewer than 40,000 members to more than 200,000.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Millie served as Chief of Surgery for the greater Seattle market. He is a board-certified general surgeon with fellowship training in minimally invasive surgery and robotics. He earned his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Washington.
