With more than 30 years of senior healthcare management experience and a history of developing innovative solutions to deliver best-in-class healthcare leveraging technology and optimizing business operations, Peter Lymm will lead the growth initiatives and business objectives for the Oregon market, ensuring alignment to P3’s Core Values, Mission and Vision.
Peter will work closely with local provider groups to adopt P3’s value-based care model, which will lead to the best outcomes for our patients and providers. He will work to deepen our existing health plan relationships and expand our partnerships with other new health plans. Additionally, he will drive community engagement efforts to allow P3 to be more actively involved in making a difference locally, thus being a great corporate citizen and enhancing greater brand awareness.
Throughout his career, Peter has made a strong impact, starting with Aetna, where he was instrumental in launching Managed Choice, Aetna’s point of service product. Peter has held numerous senior healthcare management positions, including Vice President of Operations, American Well, where with Apple, he helped launch a heart study using the Apple watch; Chief of Sales and Administrative Officer, ChenMed, where he opened two new markets in Tampa and Lakeland, Florida; Senior Vice President of Operations, Verisk Health/Cotiviti; Executive Vice President, Samsung’s Global Healthcare Division; and Deputy Chief Information Officer at Bridgeport Hospital/Yale New Haven Health. Most recently, Peter was Chief Operating Officer at Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island.
Peter holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rochester and a Master of Business Administration from the University of New Haven. He is Six Sigma Green Belt Certified and holds a Certificate of Project Management from Boston University. Peter previously served on the Board of Directors for SolBridge International School of Business in South Korea, the Mount Hood YMCA and the National Organization for the Prevention of Child Abuse.
When not working, Peter enjoys the outdoors, including spending time on the water fly fishing.
